About Kathi Ellis Education
Kathi Ellis is a dedicated professional whose academic background reflects a lifelong commitment to understanding people, strengthening communities, and supporting spiritual growth. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, where she studied human behavior, emotional development, and the foundations of cognitive and social functioning. She continued her education with a Master’s Degree in Human Services and a minor in Community Counseling, focusing on advocacy, crisis intervention, cultural competence, and the development of supportive community programs.
Kathi also earned a Certificate in Theology, studying biblical interpretation, doctrinal foundations, ministry principles, and interdenominational perspectives. Her advanced academic work led her to become a Doctorate Candidate, completing doctoral‑level coursework and research centered on leadership, human behavior, and applied professional practice.
Together, her studies form a strong foundation for her work in service, counseling, ministry, and community support—reflecting her passion for helping individuals grow, heal, and thrive.
Kathy’s most distinguished work that she’s most proud of is having served at Martha Ellen Stillwell performance art school Jonesboro, Georgia.

Bachelors of Art with a major in psychology

A Bachelor of Arts in psychology focuses on understanding human behavior, thought processes, and emotional development. Coursework typically covers cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, social psychology, and research methods. Students learn how people think, feel, and act, how mental health conditions are identified, and how scientific research is used to study behavior.
Masters Degree HumanServices with a minor in Community Counseling
National University
A Master’s in Human Services focuses on supporting individuals, families, and communities through advocacy, case management, program development, and social‑service leadership. Coursework centers on ethical practice, cultural competence, community systems, and human behavior.
The Community Counseling minor adds training in counseling theories, interviewing skills, crisis intervention, and helping clients navigate emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
